Bellami Hair always positions itself as the #1 brand for hair extensions, but I often question who granted them that title. I won’t give my comments until you see what their customers review on Trustpilot first.
From the data, it is clear that Trustpilot has collected 13,326 reviews as of December 5, 2024, but they only have an average rating of 3.6 stars. Only 65% of customers gave 5 stars, while 29% rated them 3 stars or below. They received their first review on Trustpilot on March 17, 2015, which I believe is shortly after Bellami launched their site. There have been many 1-star reviews from customers since the beginning.
The following screenshot shows the latest review as of the time I wrote this article (December 5, 2024). You can see that the 1-star reviews continue to come in, which makes me doubt their hair quality consistently.

As I remember, the price of Bellami is much higher than Luxy Hair. I found that their prices were similar to Luxy Hair’s about one or two years ago. It seems they have adjusted their pricing strategy recently. I’m not sure if they have lowered the quality of their hair extensions, as I have seen many customers complain about their quality since the beginning. However, they have definitely reduced their prices.
But one thing is certain: their hair extension quality cannot be improved.

As the founder of Findingdream Hair Extensions Factory, I really don’t understand why Bellami doesn’t provide higher quality hair extensions. With their prices, they still have a very good profit margin. Positive customer reviews can attract more stable clients. However, if they provide low-quality hair extensions, fewer customers will come, and positive reviews can spread quickly on the internet, which could shrink their business.
Hair Extensions Quality Grade
The highest grade of hair is virgin Remy hair, which some people simply refer to as virgin hair. This hair is cut directly from a woman’s head, ensuring it is healthy and has not mixed with low quality hair.
As a result, this type of hair is considered the top grade for making hair extensions. Some hair factories focus exclusively on producing these top-grade hair extensions, and Findingdream is one of them. These extensions are typically used in hair salons or high-end hair stores.
Even though Bellami Hair uses this top-grade hair, they still maintain good profit margins based on their pricing. Therefore, I believe there is no need for them to offer lower-quality products that lead to numerous customer complaints about quality. However, they may not accept my advice.
If you are owner of hair salon, It is challenging to purchase these top-grade hair extensions from wholesalers, as they come at a significantly higher price compared to lower-quality options. Hair wholesalers typically provide medium or lower-quality hair at more competitive prices.

Bellami Product Collection
Bellamihair initially offered only clip-in hair extensions but later added human hair wigs and synthetic wigs. Although the price of their human hair wigs was higher, they have since discontinued them and now only offer synthetic wigs.
They have also introduced additional types of hair extensions, such as keratin and tape-in extensions, which require application at a hair salon. The application fees for these extensions can be quite expensive, which explains why many women prefer to purchase them online, as it is often more cost-effective than buying them at a salon.
It appears that Bellami is now focusing more on their new online shop, Bellami hair Professional. The Bellami Professional website features a wider range of products than the main Bellami site.
High-end human hair wigs and hair toppers represent a significant market opportunity, especially as an increasing number of women experience hair loss.
In such cases, traditional hair extensions are not suitable; only hair toppers or human hair wigs can effectively cover the thinning areas and enhance appearance. This growing need has contributed to the rising demand for these products.

I don’t believe Bellami don’t like to provide good hair extensions.while In fact, their cooperated hair factory provide hair extensions with inconsistent quality. Some batches may be acceptable, while the next batch may not meet standards, indicating that their quality is unstable. This is a major reason for the complaints from many customers.
It is crucial for them to find a reliable hair extension factory that can supply consistently high-quality products. Only then can they enhance their customers’ satisfaction and improve their brand reputation, allowing them to grow further.
